Bio

Kat Brown is a Partner and Head of Client Operations at Maslow Wealth Advisors, where she leads the firm’s client operations team and oversees the systems and processes that support the firm’s client experience. As a member of the firm’s leadership team, she helps drive operational strategy and initiatives designed to improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.

In her role, Kat oversees the onboarding of new clients, ensuring that each relationship begins with a thoughtful and seamless experience. She works closely with the advisory team to develop and implement processes that strengthen operational consistency while maintaining the firm’s high standard of client service.

Kat is particularly passionate about building meaningful relationships with the firm’s clients and believes that a strong, client-focused operations team plays a critical role in fostering trust and long-term partnerships. Her ability to combine operational expertise with a relationship-driven mindset enables her to support both the firm’s advisors and the families they serve.

Prior to joining Maslow Wealth Advisors, Kat began her career in the financial services industry at Goldman Sachs in Houston, Texas. She worked with an eight-person team managing $4 billion in assets for institutions and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, supporting portfolio implementation, client reporting, compliance initiatives, and operational processes. She later served as a Senior Associate in Investor Relations at Vida Capital, a multi-billion-dollar alternative asset manager specializing in non-correlated investment strategies, where she managed the due diligence process for both prospective and existing institutional investors.

Kat holds the Series 65 license and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Outside of work, Kat enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She also volunteers with Pi Beta Phi at The University of Texas at Austin and is involved in her church community at The Austin Stone. Kat values being part of a firm whose culture supports both exceptional client service and a strong commitment to family.

I’ve seen a real transformation in clients’ sense of financial security simply by aggregating their checking accounts, credit cards, and income into one platform. These seemingly simple changes can provide the confidence of knowing their short-term funding needs are covered.
