Matthew Jachimiak

As a Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Matt’s primary role is developing the overall investment strategy for client portfolios, leading the firm’s investment research efforts, and chairing the Investment Committee. Matt joined Maslow Wealth Advisors in 2004 and prior to his current role was the Senior Portfolio Manager. He began his career working for Enron Corporation in Houston, Texas. While at Enron, his responsibilities included evaluation and due diligence of private equity investments for industrial firms, as well as management of a long/short equity portfolio of technology stocks for an Enron sponsored hedge fund.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and petroleum refining from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in finance as well as a specialization in investment management. While at the University of Texas, Matt served as a member of the MBA Investment Fund, LLC. Matt is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder (CFA) and has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA). He is also currently a board member of the CFA Society of Austin.

When he isn’t at work, Matt loves watching college football (he is extremely competitive), spending time with his kids and dogs, and working out. He hopes to visit Italy someday to experience its beauty, amazing culture, and people.
